Treatment

LIMS. Low field transcranial magnetic stimulation

This technique is aimed at patients diagnosed with fibromyalgia.

It consists of the application of low-frequency magnetic charges that are delivered through a cap made of a flexible fabric that easily fits to each patient’s head. It has coils (the source of ELF – “extremely low frequency”) that produce low frequency and low intensity electromagnetic fields. It also has a digital electronic generator with control panels and oscillators that generate the currents that feed the coils.

The treatment lasts 8 consecutive weeks, although this may vary according to the severity of each patient’s symptoms.

This type of technique achieves positive results such as a significant improvement in pain, tiredness, depression, headaches and lack of sleep, among other symptoms, sometimes even exceeding 85% success rates
